When worn with non-metallic components such as the CAT, compressed gauze, etc. and excluding the SOFT-T or other metal windlass rod/buckle tourniquets, cutters, scissors, etc., the unit will allow the user to pass through metal dectectors without issue.
NOTE: Most major brands of chest seals (Hyfin, HALO, etc.) have foil lined packaging that may activate metal detecting devices.
